Privacy policy
Last updated 2026-10-17
FolderHue is made by Opengray. This policy covers the FolderHue app for Windows and this website. The short version: FolderHue does not collect your data.
The app
FolderHue works entirely on your PC. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not send anything to us or to anyone else.
To do its job it keeps a few files on your PC, in the app's own folder:
- your settings, such as the language and the theme
- the list of folders you changed, so you can restore them
- your templates, and copies of the pictures you chose to put on folders
- an error log, used only on your PC to help when something goes wrong
The icon of each folder you change is saved inside that folder. Pictures you put on folders never leave your PC.
Purchases
FolderHue Pro is sold through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft handles the payment, and we never see your payment details. The app asks the Microsoft Store whether Pro is unlocked on your Microsoft account. Microsoft's own privacy statement applies to the Store.
This website
This site uses no cookies and no analytics. Like any web server, the server that hosts it may keep standard logs, such as your IP address and the pages you opened, for security. The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
Children
FolderHue collects no personal information from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
